Sturt Lacrosse Club Announces Dynamic Committee to Lead 2026 Season

Updated: 4 days ago

The Sturt Lacrosse Club has officially announced its committee for the upcoming 2026 season, bringing together a dedicated group of leaders committed to furthering the club’s inclusive culture and success on and off the field. The new team is set to uphold the club’s commitment to diversity, collaboration, and ensuring every member's voice is heard.

Before looking ahead, the Sturt community extends its sincere gratitude to the outgoing committee for their tireless efforts and dedicated service. A special thank you is extended to Pete Greenhalgh, who steps aside after three commendable years as President. His leadership has been instrumental in shaping the club's positive environment and laying the groundwork for future success.

The leadership group is anchored by experienced hands, focusing on strategic direction, financial stability, and administrative excellence.

A Dedicated Executive to Lead Sturt

Taking on the role of President is Cam Robb. Despite being relatively new to the Sturt Lacrosse Club, Cam’s strong affinity for the club's family environment quickly led him to step into the top leadership position. He is driven by a clear vision for the club's collaborative future and will lead the Executive Team in setting the strategic direction for 2026.

The committee gains significant strategic depth with Nathan Twisk as Vice President. A seasoned lacrosse player who joined Sturt following the dissolution of the North Eagles partnership (previously North Adelaide), Nathan brings valuable on-field and administrative experience. Crucially, his current role as a Lacrosse SA board member provides critical insight into the wider lacrosse land

scape, positioning him perfectly to support President Cam Robb with operational strategy and navigating the sports governance world.

Ensuring administrative excellence is Elizabeth Ainslie, who returns for another season as Secretary. Elizabeth has wholeheartedly embraced this key organisational role. Her commitment and excellent administrative skills make her a dependable organisational cornerstone and a great source of support for the entire committee.

Managing the club's finances as Treasurer is James How, a dedicated Sturt alumnus. This is a commendable effort for a young man who is currently a university student studying accounting and working within an accounting firm. As a former Sturt junior now giving back to his community, James will oversee budgeting and resource allocation to ensure long-term stability and funding for player development.
